Martin Human Resource Services has been serving the Canadian resource industry since 1997.  Our mining clients include open pit and underground operations, equipment manufacturers and service firms.  Our oil and gas clients include field service and manufacturing firms.  We partner with our clients to provide the service which is best suited to your specific needs.

What We Do ....

Recruiting - Client companies find our “temporary recruiter” service to be a very cost - effective method for hiring qualified personnel.

Health and Safety Programs - We assist Alberta-based clients in qualifying for a “Certificate of Recognition” under the “Partners in Injury Reduction Program”.

Policies and Procedures/Employee Handbooks - We have extensive experience in developing employee relations policies and procedures and employee handbooks which address client needs and meet statutory standards.  

Job Descriptions - We can develop new JD’s or update your existing documents. 

Salary Administration - The three generally accepted principles of good salary administration are internal equity, external competitiveness, and pay for performance. We have the expertise to structure your program based on these principles.

Performance Management - Properly designed goal setting, performance feedback and performance appraisal systems lead to enhanced employee performance and accountability.    

Marketplace Surveys - We design and conduct marketplace surveys for clients who are interested in assessing the competitiveness of their compensation and benefits programs.
